To Blog Or Not To Blog

That is what I have been asking myself for some time now. I don't want to blog for profit at this time, instead I want to blog for ME. With the kids being so young in age (4y, 3y & 6mo) there is very little I can give myself that gives me peace & the solitude that I (a Sagittarius) need. I certainly cant sit on the couch for a few hours with a hot tea & a crochet hook in hand. I hope blogging will help fill that need.

So, peace... that leads me to the name of this blog. Halcyon days = calm, peaceful days. With 3 = the 3 littles of mine. Is this going to be a blog about how I live this wonderfully ethereal life...everyday flowing effortlessly & peacefully into the next... HECK NO! This is going to be a blog about the real life I live. You Mama's know what I mean. The crazy kids, the messy house, the barking dog - the real stuff. The day I knock over the open 5 pound bag of bird seed is the day you will see a post from me. LOL. So my friends, sit back & enjoy the ride that is my life. Its fun, its chaotic & YES at times it is peaceful. Once in a while I even have Halcyon Days with 3.
